Getting started
Nucifra is object storage for an AI agent. The agent sends a file. Nucifra returns a public link. You put the link in a system that accepts only a URL, such as Meta Ads Manager.
What you need
- An MCP client. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Claude.ai, Cursor, and any Streamable HTTP client all work.
- A Nucifra account. Sign up at nucifra.com with Google or GitHub. No payment card.
The two steps
- Put the Nucifra server in your client’s configuration. Each client stores this in a different place. See the page for your client in this section.
- Start the client again, or reconnect. The agent asks you to sign in on its first tool call. Sign in takes two clicks.
After that, tell the agent what to do in plain language:
upload creative_v3.mp4 to nucifra.
give me the public link
The agent calls nucifra_create_upload_url, uploads the file straight to storage, then calls nucifra_create_public_url. You never handle the file yourself.
The four tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
nucifra_create_upload_url |
Mints a short-lived upload link for one file. |
nucifra_create_public_url |
Confirms the file arrived and mints a public link to it. |
nucifra_list_objects |
Lists the files the agent has already sent. |
nucifra_delete_object |
Removes one file. |
