Connect Claude Code
Add the server
Run this command in your project:
claude mcp add --transport http nucifra https://mcp.nucifra.com/mcp
Claude Code stores this in your project or user configuration, depending on the scope flag you pass. See claude mcp add --help for --scope.
Run /mcp inside Claude Code to see connection status. On the first Nucifra tool call, Claude Code opens your browser to sign in with Google or GitHub. Approve the connection, then Claude Code retries the tool call.
Use a static API key instead
Claude Code and CI environments with no browser can use a static key instead of OAuth. Create one on the API keys page, then set it as a header:
claude mcp add --transport http nucifra https://mcp.nucifra.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer ncf_live_YOUR_KEY"
Treat this key like a password. Revoke it from the API keys page if it leaks.
Test it
list my nucifra files
If Claude Code returns a file list or “This bucket is empty”, the connection works.
